Skiing by Matterhorn, the Toblerone Mountain!

Matterhorn seen from Zermatt
So one of my favorite ski blogs just posted this Review of Zermatt Ski Resort, and after reading it I realize that I will have to go back to Zermatt. I traveled quickly through there once as a kid, but I need to go back to try the skiing and take a picture of the mountain made world famous through the Toblerone chocolate (you know that pyramid/mountain shaped chocolate)!! The mountain is of course Matterhorn, and it is probably the best shaped mountain on our earth. And as long as I don’t have the guts or skills to climb this peak I’ll have to do the second best thing: go skiing around it.
The review said that you can actually get really close to the mountain without having to use your own feet for anything but cruising down the slopes. What I am trying to say is that there are lifts that take you there. And the closer you get, the fewer people are cluttering the slopes and you will have more snow to your self. So if you’re lucky with the weather and have a heavy snow storm all night until you wake up and head to the hills; well spend some lift time to get away from the people, closer to the chocolate mountain, and into your own powder paradise.
Another nice detail I liked about Zermatt is that the whole town is car free! That means the only cars around are electric cars with now emissions. So you can enjoy the fresh mountain air all day and night!
Well anyways, I was recently criticized for writing about places I haven’t been myself while misleadingly giving the impression that I have been there. It was very “suspicous” according to the critic. So I will hereby stop this post while it is still clear that I haven’t been skiing in Zermatt, and rather leave you with these links to more information:
